Freya was delighted to get the news this week that her poem had won a competition in the Siamsa annual. She won a 100 euro voucher and her poem will be published in next year's annual. Well done, Freya! Here is her poem:
Oh Deer !!!
Santa needs new reindeer,
The ones he has are old,
Vixen’s got a stomach ache,
Prancer’s got a cold.
Blitzen’s got a broken leg,
Donner’s got an ache,
Cupid’s in the kitchen,
Eating all the cake.
Commet needs a walking stick,
Dancer’s sick in bed,
Dasher’s lying down,
With a lump on his head.
Rudolph’s got a runny nose,
So does the man in red,
So Santa gives them medicine,
And puts them all to bed.
