The BIG BANG!!!
14 billion years ago something called the big bang happened.
First there were gases. Then the gases turned into a cloud and made the first star.
Now there are billions of stars. Our star is called the sun.
Then over hundreds of years dust came and made pebbles.
Then the pebbles turned into rocks and then the rocks turned into asteroids.
The asteroids flew around at the speed of light and banged into each other to make planets. Earth was flying at the perfect speed to the sun (if you throw a ball at the perfect speed, it will fall in a semi circle like the Earth). It fell in a semi-circle but there is no gravity in space, so Earth started orbiting the sun. Millions of years later a big rain shower fell on Earth and filled all the low land, which we call seas and lakes. Over thousands of years bacteria got into the water and made fish. The fish started living on land and evolved into dinosaurs. Then millions of years later an asteroid hit earth and killed all the large dinosaurs' but the small dinosaurs hid under rocks and stayed alive. Then the small dinosaurs evolved into mammals. Apes stopped living in trees and lost their tails and turned into humans.
