The Parents’ Association consists of various volunteer committees:-

Management Committee - Chair, Treasurer and Secretary

Class Reps – Each class nominates a representative to the PA

Uniform Committee – organises the sale and distribution of school uniforms

Tea Committee - provides refreshments (team, coffee, bakes and cakes etc.) for various parent events e.g. First Holy Communion, Confirmation, Junior Infants first day, PA events.

Grounds Team – organises clean-ups of the school grounds and yard.

NPC Representative – Skryne PA is a member of the National Parents’ Council (NPC). They provide guidance, information and training to parents and the PA.

Social Media Team – moderate our Facebook group and update the PA section of the school website

There are also other volunteer groups as and when we need it. For example, clearing the School during the snow to allow children to safely return or events such as our Halloween party. The PA is run by parents who give up their time and benefits everyone in our school community. If you are able to volunteer it is always appreciated and a great way of meeting other families.
